Voter Information

I strongly encourage everyone to use their right to vote and participate in the political process. (For full calendar, voting locations, absentee voting, and information about registering to vote check the Forsyth County Board of Elections).

Remember that North Carolina now requires a photo ID to vote but if you don't have an ID there are options to still vote. The poll workers should provide guidance but see details here at NC State Board of Elections regarding Voter ID.

This is where you can look up a sample copy of your ballot (if you are already registered) with all relevant items: NC State Board of Elections Sample Ballot

Unaffiliated voters can select only one party primary to vote in. You would need to use a Democratic ballot to vote for John in the primary.

Here are the basic dates:

Voter registration deadline February 9, 2024

Early Voting February 15 to March 2, 2024, can vote at any available early voting location, including Southside Library

Tuesday, March 5, 2024 Primary election, can only vote at your assigned polling place. (Use link above for your sample ballot look up to find your assigned location.)
